How They Work
The schematic below details the data flow and mechanical systems that animate the puppets.
The 8 computers that comprise the puppet network are IBM 560 ThinkPads running Linux and using Flash, Perl and PBASIC for the graphic and control subsystems. Motors and rotary encoders are interfaced
with the laptops via Basic Stamps from Parallax.
